While Madonna may be the Queen of Pop, the 56-year-old superstar is first and foremost a mother to her four children, Lourdes, Mercy, Rocco and David. 

So, in addition to preparing for the release of her forthcoming album Rebel Heart, the singer is also busy making sure 18-year-old daughter Lourdes is taken care of during her first year of college at the University of Michigan (Madge's alma matter) and, as the best-selling recording artist admits, "I'm very mom." 

"I'm very, you know, worried," the iconic performer told Today's Carson Daly when she stopped by the morning show to promote her upcoming record. "Are you OK? Are you getting enough sleep? Are you eating right?' You know, I set up a humidifier in her room with eucalyptus oil. I was worried about the fact that she didn't have enough towels, Q-tips, you know."

Still, while she may be able to relate to the average college mom, the hitmaker does keep her distance in order to have the spotlight on her daughter.
