I want to get a tattoo, but I am unsure of what type to get?

There is a wide variety designs for tattoos that you can get. Each tattoo design will give you a unique appearance. Depending on the look that you would prefer, you may choose from among the following:

• Tribal: The tribal tattoo design generally consists of simple, bold lines and simple patterns. These types of tattoos are usually done using only black ink.

• Sailor Jerry: The Sailor Jerry tattoo style is a style made famous by Jerry Collins in Honolulu. This style of tattooing is known by its bold and unwavering lines with amazing colour and intricate detailing.

• Portrait: Portrait tattoos are usually done in black and grey ink. These are tattoos that are usually done from pictures. Tattoos like these should be done by an artist who is very good at producing photographic images.

• Oriental: Oriental tattoos generally consists of oriental or eastern images, such as clouds and dragons, among others. This type of tattooing is based on the Ukiyo-e woodblock prints of the 18th century Japanese Edo-period.

• Celtic: Celtic tattoos are very beautiful designs that represents the intricacies of the knot work of the Celts. These tattoos are generally difficult to do and as such, it is advised that you get to someone who specializes in this type of design to get your Celtic tattoo.

• Black and Grey: This style really just refers to the colours used to do the tattoo. Doing a Black and Grey tattoo requires advanced shading techniques.

• Bio-Mechanical: Bio-Mechanical tattoos consist of some anatomical flesh intertwined with technical drawing of machines. This bio-mechanical style of tattooing was made popular by H.R. Giger, who is the designer fictional alien characters in some movies.
