That's just your opinion and i beg to differ! yes while kartel pre-jail songs a fazing out now and many would miss his somewhat 'vulgarity lyrics', i dont see how the hype around dancehall a "dead". the teacha by himself is not dancehall and his plan at letting his fans believe that he is (dancehall hero), is obviously working because with his absence ppl a bawl bout them dont have nutn to listen to.
i'm still enjoying just as good songs from other artistes, many of whom i never get clearly listen to as they were being overshadowed by the teacha. popcaan still a do good as well as i-octane, mavado, aidonia, sasco, busy, jah vichi, even munga to r.a.s.s.

i think real question that should be asked is "since kartel gone a jail for more than a month now, how come nuff artistes who say them can dominate dancehall nuh start as yet? becuse as far as i see it them still at the same level as they were before kartel guh jail.
