Justin Bieber plans to put an end to a woman's claim that the 17-year-old singer is the father of her child.
A source confirmed to Access Hollywood that Bieber has made arrangements to take a DNA test when he returns from Europe in response to the paternity suit filed in San Diego Superior Court by Mariah Yeater last week.
Bieber is currently in Europe, where he attended the MTV Europe Music Awards over the weekend. The awards show -- which saw Bieber take home two awards -- was hosted by his girlfriend, Selena Gomez.
A source told Access Hollywood that Bieber's camp will take harsh legal action against Yeater for her claims.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com , on Friday the singer told Matt Lauer during an appearance on NBC's "Today" show, "To set the record straight, none of it is true... never met the woman."
His rep previously told Access, "It's sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claims. We will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations."
According to the Associated Press, a hearing in the matter is scheduled for Dec. 15.
