HE found out by accident when he booted up his computer and out popped an instant messaging chat box with his eight-year-old daughter conversing with a man eight years his senior.

Jay, 42, said he read the history of the conversation and was shocked by the contents, which involved his daughter asking the man for money, making remarks about the man's "buff" appearance, and then threatening to tell her dad about the "paedophile" when the man told her he didn't want to talk anymore.
