The police on Tuesday arrested and charged an attorney-at-law from Mandeville, Manchester.
He is Debayo Adedipe, who has been charged with forgery, uttering forged documents, conspiracy to defraud and money laundering.
According to the police, the charges were laid following investigations into a report received by the Organised Crime Investigation Division about an incident in 2007.
The report alleges that Adedipe and other persons conspired to forge documents that were subsequently used to fraudulently sell a property in Mandeville.
The matter is set for hearing in the Mandeville Resident Magistrate's Court on July 12.
