A homosexual man accused of killing his lover at his home along Dupont Avenue, Kingston 20, because of his alleged unfaithfulness was remanded when he appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday.
Twenty-four-year-old Fabian Montique, a security guard from Coral Gardens, Montego Bay, is to return to court on July 13 for mention.
Allegations are that on Sunday June 5 about 1:35 p.m., Montique accused Michael Morris of being unfaithful.
According to reports an argument that became physical ensued.
Further allegations are that, the accused used a kitchen knife to stab Morris in the left side of his neck and the upper region of his back. He was rushed to the Andrews Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The accused who fled the crime scene was later caught in the Half-Way Tree area and arrested.
