Oprah Winfrey wants to make instant internet sensation Ted Williams her OWN.

The multi-millionaire entrepreneur says there's a spot for the once-homeless recovering alcoholic with the golden voice on her newly launched Oprah Winfrey Network.

"I would like to see him be part of OWN," Winfrey told Inside Edition in an interview airing Friday. "It would be fantastic to hear him say, 'The Oprah Winfrey Network.'"

Winfrey said she was among the millions captivated by Williams' tale of redemption.

Oprah Winfrey this week in California talking about her new network, OWN.

"The reason we're all so fascinated, I think, is because it means you can be homeless on the street, carrying a sign like we've all seen, and this can happen to you," she said.

It's just the latest job offer for Williams, who earlier this week was panhandling for change on the streets of Columbus, Ohio.

In a sitdown with his mother, Williams heard some tough advice about taking advantage of his unlikely second chance at success.

"Don't disappoint me," begged 90-year-old Julia Williams on Friday's "The Today Show," just one day after their tearful reunion.

"Hold your life together. Just don't let things fall apart and you fall in with the wrong people. That's the part that upsets me about him. He's a good person, and he's easily pulled into things," she added.

The duo embraced for the first time in 20 years on Thursday.

"Hi, Mommy," Williams said over and over, running into his mother's arms as cameras clicked away.

Since the 53-year-old and his velvet voice became an overnight sensation, Williams has received a flurry of job offers. He signed a contract with Kraft, voiced an MSNBC promo and is even being pursued by the Cleveland Cavaliers for work.

Williams acknowledged that he, too, is concerned about heading down the wrong road again. But the new star said he wants to pick one job to focus on - and plans to see a therapist.

"I feel like I'm going to need it," he said.

Williams said he avoided his mother for two decades because he was ashamed of his unfulfilled promises to turn his life around.

"I felt like I brought so much disgrace to this world," he said.

"It was like a broken record," his mother said of the times her son vowed his voice would make him a star someday. "All I got was promises."

Williams described the reunion as a prayer that had finally been answered.

"We just bawled up, teared up both of us, and when mommy cries, that makes me cry," Williams said. "We didn't even say anything. We just hugged ... It was like a dream come true."
