Around or In 1992 Mc Hammer was sued by a person claiming for $16 million for copyright infringement along with the evidence against him was true. He did settle out of court but the amount is still unknown

I think he was also sued for not completing a book deal with publishing company Simon & Schuster. He also did alot of careless spending.

But he lost the majority of his money trying to save his wife who was battling with cancer.
