Agents of the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) this afternoon seized a red convertible Mercedes Benz belonging to popular entertainer Elephant man in a bid to recover outstanding taxes.

Elephant mans whose real name is O'Neil Bryan asset was seized at premises 3 Hill Crest Avenue, off Hope Road.

Earlier, the tax department started its operation in Haven Dale St Andrew at a house owned by the artiste but investigators said they found nothing of value.

The tax officials along with the police then went to the Hillcrest Avenue house belonging to Elephant Man where the motorcar was seized.

In March, the tax department placed Elephant Man on a list of 50 high-profile delinquent taxpayers.
