An Old Harbour Bay, St Catherine resident is now recovering after he had to be hospitalised when a large pig bit him on his penis.
Reports reaching The Star are that the incident occurred recently.
The injured man is said to have spent almost a week in hospital after he was bitten by the animal.
"Bwoy mi nuh know a wah happen mek the wicked hog bite the man," said a witness.
The Star learnt that the man, who is the owner of the animal, went into the pig pen after deciding that he wanted to sell one. It is understood that the owner and another man held the pig, however, the owner who held it closer to its head was bitten twice.
"The hog dat him a try fi sell got violent and bite him pon him private, a straight hospital and a nine days him spend a hospital," a resident of Old Harbour Bay said.
The residents told THE STAR that they are baffled as to why the animal got so violent. "Dats why some people are against eating pork as hog eat anything it ketch," another concerned resident said.
When contacted the Old Harbour Bay police said that they were aware of the attack.
