Starkutt Records is aiming for an International hit with the recently released 'Premium' rhythm.

Produced by singjay/producer Demarco, Premium features 12 fresh talents with a dancehall meets pop beat.

The rhythm was premiered on radio last week and will officially be released on itunes on June 1. Karl Palmer from Starkutt described the beat saying, "it's not hard-core dancehall so much, it's mostly a pop beat, like 'Island Pop' which is an easy crossover."

Aidonia kicks off the rhythm with Tell Me that is guaranteed to have the females liking his style. Abandoning his super-fast style of deejaying and toning down on the x-rated lyrics, he smoothly says, "you love me style, tell me nuh/wine for me, wine for me baby".

Chevaughn, who is known for songs such as Holiday and Tables, has one of his first solo singles Keep It Blazing which with his clear and strong voice will 'catch on' with audiences quickly.

Also making a solo appearance is Voicemail's Craig Jackson with For You. A touching love song he sings,"I'm living for you/only for you".

Elephant Man moves away from his dancing song and does one for the girls with Just Can't Satisfy deejaying, "gal yuh waist mussi mek out of elastic/to how yuh a bend/dat style deh weh yuh do/dweet it back again/mi waan know which wining school yuh attend".

Chino's Affi Get A Gal is different from the other 'girls songs' on the rhythm as he talks about his swagger and style making sure, "haffi get a gal tonight".

The female singers make a strong appearance on Premium with Alaine, CeCile, Raine Seville, Tessanne Chin and newcomer Uni'verss.

Alaine is singing about her "new love", while CeCile proclaims "mi man nuh careless/him nuh cheat/and him know where to find him yard to get the squeeze".

Raine Seville does her You Got A Girlfriend in a low-pitch song differentiating it from persons such as Alaine and Tessanne Chin as she talks about liking the wrong guy. Chin's voice is as strong as ever in Love Again as she sings about not being afraid to love again.

Other songs include Dance For The Love from Uni'verss, Sanjay's Hard For Love and Hitmaker with Lover & Friend.

According to Palmer, out from Starkutt soon will be a number of rhythms including singles from Demarco such as Leggo Mi Head and Prayer.
