Reggae singer Jah Cure, born Siccature Alc**k, had his bail extended until June in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday when he appeared on a charge of possession of ganja.
According to the allegations, the police saw a white BMW driving recklessly along Dunrobin Avenue when it was signalled to stop. It is alleged that the vehicle stopped and the police approached and spoke with the accused man.
The police alleged that he asked the accused man if he had ganja in his possession and he said "yes". The vehicle was searched and it is alleged to have a quantity of one ounce of ganja. The accused man was arrested and charged.
The 32-year-old entertainer is known for songs such as Love Is, Reflection and his recent hit Call On Me with Alison Hinds.
