A man who stole 62 mangoes from his neighbours tree was slapped with a three-month prison sentence when he pleaded guilty to praedial larceny in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday.
Sheldon Campbell, who admitted to the court that he stole the mangoes, was sentenced by Resident Magistrate Judith Pusey.
Campbell was arrested and charged on May 11 after a policeman saw him leaving the complainant's yard in Vineyard Town, Kingston 3, with a crocus bag. He was stopped and searched and the fruits were found in bag.
