According to a report on Television Jamaica (TVJ) earlier tonight, yesterday evenings shooting incident which left dancehall deejay Mad Cobra nursing gunshot wounds, stemmed from an altercation that he had with some youths in the Braeton community of Portmore.

According to the report, the youths were offended because the deejay had shone his vehicles bright lights on them. Despite recognizing that the offender was the veteran deejay Mad Cobra and a long-time resident of the community, the youths still fired shots at him. He is still in hospital at this time in stable condition.
