That almost became a reality according to the star. The man who plays vampire Edward Cullen in the hugely successful 'Twilight' films told Oprah Winfrey he dreamed of becoming a rapper as a teen.

I grew up watching American movies and stuff. Also, I used to want to be a rapper when I was like 14, he told her.

To which Oprah replied, No you didnt! Her amazement isn't a big surprise since it is well known she isn't a fan of the art form.

But for Robert, hip hop has been a huge help for him in developing an American accent for movies even if his co-star and rumored girlfriend Kristen Stewart doesn't think so.
