A dispute between Annette Daley and her 29-year-old brother in Peggy Barry district, Grange Hill, Westmoreland, on Sunday has resulted in her death and her brother in police custody.

Both siblings are from Peggy Barry district. Annette was 35 years old.

Reports are that about 11:45 a.m. the siblings were at their home when a dispute developed over the ownership of a house. During the fracas, the brother - said to be of unsound mind - used a stick to hit Annette on the head.

She was taken to the Sav-la-Mar Hospital where she died. The brother was taken into custody.

The Grange Hill police are investigating.
