Entertainment fraternity hold vigil
Meanwhile, Friends and well wishers of Oneil Edwards held a prayer vigil in Mandela Park in Half Way Tree Monday morning as news of his attack spread.
Holding hands, singing hymns and murmuring words towards the heavens, the group which comprised of members of the entertainment fraternity prayed for Oneil's safe passage through his ordeal.
"Prayer eases everything and what else (is there) for us to do but pray, what else is there for us to do but unite together as artistes. Everyone here is an artiste or a member of the industry and we're here because we all know that Oneil is not a trouble maker, he's a good youth, so whoever is a trying to take him out should know that he's alive and well and he's going to be alive tomorrow, and the next day until God is ready for him," said dancehall artist, Clifford Smith, also known as Mr. Vegas, who spoke on behalf of the group.

"We can only play our part and unit together as an industry.
