Beenie Man blasts detractors in new Admiral Tibet remake

In his latest musical release since news of the cancellation of his US visa, Beenie Man has taken aim at critics of his professional and personal life.

The new release, Leave People Business, is a fiercely done remake of the 1989 classic by Admiral Tibet, featuring fresh vocals by Admiral Tibet himself. Admiral Tibet, (real name Kennel Allen) a reggae/dancehall legend of the 1980s is seeing resurgence in popularity these days from other covers of his music catalogue.

The original version by Admiral Tibet was heavily criticised during the '90s for labelling women as tattle tales and 'informers'. Twenty years later, Beenie Man's version does nothing to redeem either Tibet or the hit song.

redone lyrics

Beenie Man's rendition of Leave People Business (produced by Thunderbird Music) features a defiant Moses Davis responding to much publicised speculation about the extent of his celebrity fortune.

Its redone lyrics make bold declarations about the artiste's relationships with various women that differ decidedly from proclamations he made during a recent interview on Irie FM about his current relationship with dancehall diva D'Angel, and answers piercing questions about exactly how much child support he pays.

The song also sees Beenie Man demanding proof of the paternity of his children.

When asked to comment about the questionable content of the new song, a representative of Thunderbird Productions was quoted as saying, "It's good that Beenie Man is challenging unconstructive remarks made about him."

"Violent", "Controversial" and "Challenging", indeed, the new song is being hailed as one of Beenie Man's best works yet.

Leave People Business by Beenie Man is now available on Amazon.com and iTunes and is featured on Youtube.
