Vybz Kartel's defining double CD Pon Di Gaza 2.0 has been selling well across a variety of markets worldwide, prompting Tads International to declare it "one of its best sellers ever".

Released jointly between Adidjaheim Records and the Tads Records International label,  Pon Di Gaza 2.0 is a complete portrayal of the life and times of Adidja 'Vybz Kartel' Palmer. WIth slamming singles such as the Billboard-charting single "Ramping Shop" featuring Spice, "Virginity" featuring Indu, and "Like a Movie", audiences can tune into the flashy wordsmith, Vybz Kartel, while new singles like "Teardrops," "What You Won't Do for Love," "Can't Frame Me," and "Yea Though I Walk" gives personal testament of the trials, tribulations, and triumphs of the man known as Adidja Palmer.

He has taken painstaking steps to ensure that a good portion of the songs have not been leaked on the Internet or to Jamaica's rabid sound system music machinery. 

"The exclusive tracks were done late last summer, and reflects the mood of what I was going through at that point in time," Kartel stated during a newspaper interview last year. "Detained in jail without just cause, relationships between my baby mothers and myself--each with a different outcome, the death of a good friend...real life situations. I think my fans will love to get personal with Kartel, so this is their chance."

In 2009, Kartel had eight number one singles in Jamaica, some of which were "Last Man Standing", "Million By A Morning;" "Ramping Shop" featuring Spice; "Mama", "Life We Living", "Dollar Sign;" and "Completely" featuring Indu. In addition, he scored two international hits with "Ramping Shop" debuting on the Billboard Top 100 Singles charts, and "Dollar Sign" being in regular rotation on popular urban stations in the U.S.  This year he was also recognized by the  EME (Excellence in Music and Entertainment) Awards for Lyricist/Songwriter of the Year, Recording Artiste of the Year and Male Deejay of the Year.

Vybz Kartel has been able to transform himself into a successful businessman who has started successful ventures like Vybz Rum, the ultra-popular Street Vybz as well as establishing his own line of condoms, Daggering. He has also donated computers to high schools in Kingston rural Jamaica and to the Waterford Primary school in his hometown in Portmore. The deejay has proven that he is more than just a clever wordsmith and talented performer but that he is an insightful businessman.
