The Kingston and St. Andrew Corporation (KSAC) has shutdown a studio frequently used by dancehall deejay Vybz Kartel and the members of the Portmore Empire.
Freshvybz understands that the studio in Havendale, Kingston is owned by Father Romie who refuses to comment to Music News. While Vybz Kartel was also unavailable for comment.
The KSAC started an investigation after the police sent a letter lobbying for the studio to be shutdown. Last week, Town Clark at the KSAC Errol Green said they began investigating after they found out that no approval was granted for a change of use from residential to commercial.
All this is subsequent to a whirlwind of violent attacks within the Portmore Empire.
