I was watching a conspiracy theory vid a friend gave me the other day and they were talking about eugenics [the study and practice of selective breeding applied to humans, with the aim of improving the species]. In the US State laws were written in the late 1800s and early 1900s to prohibit marriage and force sterilization of the mentally ill in order to prevent the "passing on" of mental illness to the next generation. These laws were upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court in 1927 and were not abolished until the mid-20th century. All in all, 60,000 Americans were sterilized.
Hitler then copied the laws established in the states to implement racial cleansing which led to the Holocaust and all the other atrocities in the name of science.
The documentary mentioned the,"The Jamaican Race Mixing Study." So I Googled it.
Both of my parents were from St. Elizabeth where the study was taken, so they had my attention. Check out some of these links.......

Did you know the founder of IBM Thomas Watson supplied his punch card computers to Nazi Germany? The tattoos on the camp victims were IBM human identification numbers, which fed into the computers.

I advise caution with your research there is a lot of Bigotry out there still on both sides.
