A male who was caught styling customers hair and nails in the downtown area of Kingston, was brought before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday.
Charged with braiding hair in a public place is Dumando Davis.
The facts are that the police were on patrol in the area when Davis was seen working on the customers' hair and nails in an area not designated for such activities. He was subsequently arrested and charged.
When the matter was mentioned in court, Davis pleaded guilty to the charges. He was fined $2,000 or 10 days injail.
