January 10, 2010. MediaTakeOut.com just received word of YET ANOTHER tragic story. On Thursday, a 50 year old New York man named Darrell Evans  murdered his own daughter, and the child's babysitter.

Here's what happened. Darrell was married to Joan Whitfield, a 47 year old registered nurse. Joan was a hard working woman, she regularly working long hours at the hospital and she just returned from a military stint in the Middle East.

By contrast, Darrell was a DEAD BEAT!!! According to reports, the 50 year old Darrell hasn't had a steady job for his ENTIRE ADULT LIFE!!!

Finally Joan came to her senses and decided to leave Darrell. A few months ago she moved herself and their 9 ear old daughter out of their Brooklyn NY home - and into the upper-middle-class suburb of Mount Vernon.

Well Darell wasn't going to let her go so easy. On Thursday, he called Joan at her job and told her that he was going to do something CRAZY!!! Joan immediately called the police and told them to go to her home and check on her daughter - but it was too late.

When police arrived at the scene, they found Darrell on the front lawn with a gun in his hand. And their precious 9 year old daughter Ayana Evans had been shot in the torso. Ayana's babysitter, 42 year old Lorna Williams of Florida, was shot in the side of the head. Both were pronounced DEAD at the scene.
