Bling Dawg

Deejay Bling Dawg is denying rumours that he was involved in a shooting incident which took place on Saturday night at the Greater Portmore High School in St Catherine.

It was reported in Monday's STAR that the police were hunting for a deejay following the shooting of two people at a stage show held at the school. Patrons attending the event had to run for cover when shots were fired following a disagreement between two deejays. Reports are that at about 4 am both entertainers were on stage when an argument developed between them. The police said during the confrontation one of the men pulled a firearm and fired several shots at the other who, along with patrons scampered for cover.

The Portmore police have declined to release the name of the deejay being sought, as well as the name of the other entertainer with whom he had the confrontation. According to Bling Dawg, persons have been speculating on the streets and on the Internet that he is involved.

Bling Dawg told The Weekend STAR yesterday, "rumours going round dat me and Shawn Storm (from the Portmore Empire) was in the shoot out at the school. Me nuh know how dis start cause me and him don't in no beef, mi don't even know what him look like." Bling Dawg said he started hearing the rumours as early as Monday.

According to Bling Dawg he was not even in Portmore on Saturday night, as he was busy in the studio, working all weekend. Meanwhile, the deejay has been busy working with singles such as Girls, Girls and Feelings In A Relationship with Peetah Morgan. He is also gearing up for a European tour, alongside Assailant, from December to January 6.
