Cops have now charged the 20-year-old man accused of punching a three-month-old infant to death, with murder.

The Old Harbour Police officially charged Orville Brown of Gutter's, St Catherine, on Monday.

He had been in custody for almost two weeks and is to appear in the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate's Court in St Catherine early next week.

According to reports, on September 9 the accused, the toddler and his mother were at home when an argument developed.

Investigators said, the woman confessed that Brown was not the biological father of the infant. The baby was then punched in the face several times and had to be rushed to hospital where he later died.

Wait she lied to the dude if he would have hit her he would be in jail for domestic violence he killed the baby out of anger and him a go do life probably after being told that the baby is not his and probably never mean fe kill de child he was mad and the woman na get nutting dis is madddd !!!!

Swagg me can understand wha you saying but I don't think he mean fe kill the child times ruff king and to make a man pay fe a next man youth what retribution de man get the child is the real victim but damn the woman need fe get someting too she is responsiable fe de child death just like him !!!! What I'm saying, as a man wha live ghetto life an' know how hard it is fi mek a legal and not so legal hustle, the last ting pon my mind a fi beat up a three month old, yeah, him upset, but fi tek it out pon di yute, tell mi seh him beat up the madda an' kill, but three month old, caan walk, talk, nor defend himself. Mi get seh di madda wrong, but nuh  beat up the defenceless yute and kill him
