A bus conductor who used his mouth to indecently assault a teenager pleaded guilty in the Spanish Town Resident Magis-trate's Court yesterday.
The 20-year-old St Catherine man said he was guilty but it was the complainant who made the first move.
His lawyer Earle Hamilton said his client did not mean to hurt the complainant, who decided to stay on the bus after all the other passengers disembarked.
The court heard that the conductor committed two counts of indecent assault by biting the girl on her breast and also on her lower body.
The 13-year-old was taken to do medical tests by her mother and the police were called in.
An investigator told the court that the complainant is acquainted with the accused and that is why she trusted him.
The conductor was granted $60,000 bail on condition that he reports to the Point Hill Police Station on Saturdays. He was also told he should not drive or conduct on any public passenger vehicles for the duration of the case. He will be sentenced on October 22.
