Believe it or not, she JUST signed with them. Before today she was still independent, just how Drake was before officially signing recently. 

Nicki just didn't show off her rap skills to get a contract, she also showed her skills on the business tip, she is not to be taken lightly. She signed a very unique contract that not many artists can even dream of.

The press release today stated...
