The most-buzzed-about unsigned artist in the industry, Drake, has officially signed to Young Money Entertainment.

After a bidding war that included Universal Motown and Atlantic Records, the Canadian rapper-singer has made his home at the label founded by Lil Wayne.

The debut album from the Best I Ever Had hitmaker will be released on Young Money with distribution through Universal Republic, home to Amy Winehouse, Chamillionaire, and India.Arie.

Drakes debut album, Thank Me Later, is scheduled for a late 2009 release
