Nice work Brainz but I think it is unfair to all of the other DJ's out there to endorse individual banners... kindof like the whole emote situation.

MJZA Banner should be advertising about the site... think about it hmm people sign up and go wtf is this site about.... wft is this thing?

MY VIEW AS THAT AS LONG AS WHEN OTHER DJ'S DROP MIX TAPES AND NEED ENDORSEMENT THEY SHOULD BE ALLOWED THE OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE A BANNER ON THE SITE. IF THIS IS NOT THE CASE THEN I WILL NOT SUPPORT ANY DJ'S HAVING A BANNER UP AT ALL.

LOVE THE DESIGN THOUGH! mad

I see two issues, the design, and purpose.

I made this post early on,  about the design, and like to address purpose.

I like the creativity, artwork and design. Color scheme I am not to fond of, dull earth tones reminds me of the seasons fall and winter. I would like to have seen brilliant collage of colors which radiate the freshness of spring and summer.


The use of yellow tinting in the banner I like it keeps your eye moving to capture the whole piece. The only issue, if the theme is to promote a woman, and woman (girl) power, the piece is static, lifeless, the choice of background environment should consider. If you were capturing the essence of NAZ's character, saying she is a night time, hard working person, you done that, but I do not know NAZ so I am relating to what I see in the banner.

Overall clean crisp lines, which is appealing and east on the eye. Thanks for the hard work.

Leah, and Patrick make excellent points, and not knowing the politics for banners and placement, I think the door of opportunity has open for all DJ's that support this board.  I suggest that the overall banner represent the Zone with its best features as the top bill in the banner, and the secondary spotlight goes to the DJ who is got it going on and has created a hot trend or released some great sounding tunes. 

The criteria to be considered and selected can be easily written, and all DJ's can be nominated for submission who meet this criteria. My only suggestion is no one DJ can win more than 1x every 6 months.

I guess if you want it to happen some of the stronger voices on the zone need to speak up and be heard to create your reality.

 why no body never tink of geting dem banner up from day one? and nuff ppl banner go up caz dont hate mixtape went up with badras and spyder..and quiva estrogen tape went up....dont knw wat everybody fighting for........feel sorry fi unuh...tek the site....its there for alll
