Greater Portmore turned back Marlie mount 'A' 6-5 to win the Institute of Sports/JBA St Catherine Primary Basketball League closing rally at the Horizon Park Primary School on Thursday.

Greater Portmore reached the final by beating St John's Primary 2-0 in semi-final one. Marlie mount 'A' beat Marlie -mount 'B' 16-2.

League title

Meanwhile, Marlie mount 'A' captured the league title with a 12-10 win over Greater Portmore.

Greater Portmore advanced to the final with a 16-4 victory over Marlie mount 'B', in semi-final one. Marlie mount 'A' shot past Gregory Park 14-11 in the other semi-final.

Marlie mount 'B' edged Gregory Park 10-9 for third place. The top four teams now turn their attention to the all-island play-offs at the National Stadium courts.
