ONE876ENT. INTERVIEWS ADDI THE TEACHA

ONE876interviewed the Teacha over the weekend to find out the
nature and complexity of this latest chapter in the ongoing feud, and
why he chose to renew hostilities with the Alliance.


1. You recently voiced a song called When Since that disses individual
members of the Alliance, would it be fair to say that the animosities
have started again between the Empire and the Alliance?
ANSWER: It would be fair to say that the Portmore Empire is about
music not animosity.

2. Did any incident in particular jumpstart the latest chapter in this
ongoing feud?
ANSWER: What feud?

3. Is there any hope that one day you and Killa would ever be able to
exist on friendly terms in the world of dancehall? And do you think
his legacy is dependent on your individual success?
I hope that dancehall will forever exist and my 'success' as you put
it, is independent (with the exception of the fans that put me where I
am). I dont think about Killer.

4. Would you be willing to clash Mavado again in the future? Or do
you think that he is staying far away from the idea of a clash?
ANSWER: I am willing to entertain the dancehall fans... and I dont
think about other artistes.

5. How would you rate the success of the Empire? Is it 100 per cent
where you need it to be?
ANSWER: I rate it at 101 per cent based on the fact that the unit
isnt even 3yrs old and has received national and regional recognition
doing shows as far as Switzerland and based on the fact that a lot of
the 'powers that be' are trying to stop the Gaza Movement.

6. What is the Gaza Movement?
The Gaza Movement is what is happening in Jamaica, its Vybz Kartel
and the Empire initiating the changing of the guards demographically
speaking. The new generation has emerged and need to belong to
something, something that they can be a part ofsome thing that
appeals to them something that is their voicethats the GAZA
MOVEMENT.....Portmore Empire and the fans of the Empirethe people, we
are the Movement.
