Dancehall artiste, Okefe Aaron, popularly known as Laden, was released from lock-up this morning after posting station bail in the sum of $20,000.

The Junction Police in St Elizabeth arrested the 23 year old artiste last evening for disorderly conduct and using indecent language.

Its alleged that about 6.30 p.m. yesterday, a friend of the artiste was having a conversation with a female student.

A police sergeant reportedly approached the student and enquired why she was still on the streets in uniform at that time of the evening, and ordered her home.

Mr. Aaron, who was nearby, told the student not to leave.

An argument reportedly developed between Mr. Aaron and the policeman during which the artiste is reported to have used expletives.

He is to appear before the Santa Cruz Resident Magistrates Court on June 9.
