Regarding the Mods, more than likely it is a volunteer job, and they do it the best they know how. Some probably do it better than others just like the DJ's of this board.

I feel that the board Admin should have a policy which standardizes or provides guidance in goveranance. Also, I do not think or believe Mods should publicly post of sanctions being place on a poster, I believe an email or pm should be sent to the poster in violation, to correct their thoughts and civil discussion should be created to clarify policy between board and poster.

Also, the board members need to show respect to the title status "MOD", whether or not they like or dislike the person holding the title.

Again, all disciplininary action should be discrete, and communicated in PM's versus posting it publicly.

Alrite so everybody is voting but no one is giving any valid reasons behind their stance ..all I see is a bunch of comment without any substance to it . All these complaining about mods this and mods that is annoying . One guy's statement was Mods live a normal life so they probably take their problems from the everyday life out on the zone members I don't believe anyone of the mods does that... well I can speak for myself I know I DONT . I know how to differentiate zone from real life and I'm sure the others mods too, most time I come on the zone a pure laugh me a laugh cuz most of the members are jokers but once I sign off thats it for zone issues until I sign on again.

The common theme that seems to arise is the problem of peoples post being deleted but I guess most of the members didn't read the rules post by the admin which clearly states and I quote ..

WHERE MEMBERS ARE IN BREACH OF THE FORUM RULES, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MOVE, MODIFY OR, SCRUB POSTS AND/OR BAN OR TAKE AWAY THE POSTING PRIVELIGES OF OFFENDERS.

and there are many more points which should be read carefully. cuz the freedom of speech ends at the point u get disrespectful towards other members.
furthermore i see many ppl who correct new users about not to post external links and spam in the chat box, but they seem not to know this rule any more when it comes to themselves.
and i find it jus hilirious to see a member behave like a little child and the next minute he requests to become a mod.
im very fine with the actual mods, cuz i´ve meet only few ppl on the zone so far, who seem to have the greatness of mind to act in a fair and neutral way, at least thats what i can say from how i see members behavin every day.

for example, wat if i make a post discussing the bad about ur religion or culture? others may agree with what im saying,are u going to delete my post because it hurts ur feelings? thats not fair, if u do that u have issues, u need help,

What I find easiest is to argue the content of the post, and not argue with the poster. This looks like a diverse group, and with different values, lifestyles, and morals...instead of judging the poster, about their character, challenge their belief of what is posted, and agrue the content, and together the banter of posts about topic will provide insight as to the paths we all have travel....with greater respect.

well respect my beliefs then, and i wil do the same to urs. that the problem with the world u know, we want to tell ppl wat to do, mold them into our shape, in other words,

"you must be like me or have my ways" what u say or think doesnt mean shit me,"its my way or the high way"

there comes a time when u have some ppl who feel that its rite to control ppl, ive learn most of my life to be myself, they are bieng themselves but they need ppl to be a replica of them.......
