Columbia (WLTX) -- Richland County deputies seized two guns and over $21,000 in drugs on Saturday in Northeast Columbia.
Deputies say a Crimstoppers tip led Narcotic Agents to 540 Halleck Lane in the Brookehaven Subdivision where the seized the weapons and illegal drugs.
Around 7:00 a.m. Saturday morning, agents conducted a search warrant of the home and discovered a plastic bag of marijuana, a bag of crack cocaine, powder cocaine and cigars filled with marijuana sitting in an ashtray.
Sheriff Leon Lott says a .357 revolver and a .38 caliber pistol were also found in the home.
Deputies arrested 35-year-old James Fulks and 23-year-old Vanichia Cox. Both have been charged with trafficking cocaine over 200 grams, possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, simple possession of marijuana, and possession of a pistol during a violent crime.
Both were transported to the Richland County Jail and have since been released.
