Yute! We all know that BB's are good at email and certain pertainable features. But , I'm talking about phones in GENERAL. The BB fails in general overall performance interms of processor speed, durability, battery life, multimedia capabilities and overall functionality. The black berries are overated aswell, the Android version isn't even relesed yet. I won't even mention the Nokia N97(Iphone killer) which makes BB's look like a toy payphone.
Son, BB's have good to great ratings on all things you mentioned. They were made for business uses (e-mail, phone, communication), and only recently started with the multimedia portion of it. "Jesus phone" is supposed to have everything but it's mediocre at it overall. How can the BB be overrated, when it is "good at email and certain pertainable features." which is exactly what it is made for?
You mention "the Android version isn't even relesed yet" (when it actually came out last month) then "mention" the Nokia N97 which isn't even out yet.
pertainable [sic] is not a word, iPhone's dictionary should've told you that.
Well, I have had the BlackBerry Storm for 5 days and I am ready to throw it in front of a moving semi truck. The first day I had it, I loved it. Well all has changed. First of all, I am a college student so I am always on the go so I don't have time to always be plugging my phone in. My girlfriend has the BlackBerry Curve and his battery lasts for 2-3 days. The battery for the Storm only lasts about 8 hours, even without frequent use. The design is okay, but sort of cheap. Light shows through on the bottom buttons. Also, I have not been able to pick up one call. My phone will ring and it will show who is calling, but when I press the send button, my phone freezes. It's becoming very annoying and frustrating. When switching between applications, the phone becomes moody. Sometimes I have no problem switching between the navigation and internet or games. But, most of the time it is slow. I think that this phone was designed alright, in terms of the applications. I love the navigation app in terms of the weather and local search and things like that, but what is the point if it takes forever to work or freezes up. I believe I am going to get rid of this phone and replace it for the LG dare. That is what I was going to get originally before I saw the Storm. I should have gone with my first instinct. And How comes my brother from Europe has a N95 and it has not comed out yet?

Son, punctuation, but anyway; you're basing everything about how bad Blackberry's are on the Storm. Granted, you didn't have a good experience with the Storm (firmware may not matter if you didn't like it physically, try updating it anyway for the software issues), but how does that reflect on ALL BB's? iPhone can't even switch applications & run them in the background, it CLOSES it or pauses the whole thing.
You mentioned the N97, not the N95 which has been out for over 2 years, the N97 comes out sometime next month in Europe.
I'm unfamiliar with the LG Dare, so I can't give any sort of opinions on it; maybe pree a Pre when it's released.
