Rihanna hasn't had a wonderful year in the public eye after a very publicized beating in Los Angeles. Since then, Rihanna has had an outpouring of support. Recently, rumors have been spreading, friendships have been strengthened and a tour may be in the works.
After her split with Chris Brown, whom she was involved with before an alleged domestic dispute seperated them, the songstress has not been seen dating others. However, she was recently rumored to be dating Andrew Bynum, the young center for the Los Angeles Lakers. Bynum recently denied the rumors to TMZ.
Whether or not she is dating the young star, she has been getting support from friends. One of those friends, Katy Perry, recently spoke on this .
"I don't think I really, like, reached out to her. We're friends and we're both kind of on this crazy roller coaster, and ... it's nice to have good girlfriends. I pride myself on having cool chicks in my life, and she's a cool chick," Perry told MTV.
"Of course I consider her a friend, but it's not like 'I'm there,' making a big deal of it, because I feel weird about that type of stuff. I'm trying to always be there for my friends. ...She's a really cool chick. I love her style. ... She's one of those unaffected people."
Rihanna is also working on organizing her tour, which may end up being a "girls only" tour. A source spoke to E! Online about this recently.
"Rihanna wants strong women to join her," the source told the network. "This is a 'women empowerment' type of tour."
Reports indicate Keyshia Cole may join the tour after negotiations are hashed out. Other names that have been thrown around, according to other reports, include Ciara.
