The son of dancehall artiste, Desmond Ballentine, more popularly known as Ninja Man, is now in police custody facing a possible murder charge this week.
The teen, whose name is being withheld pending further investigations was reportedly held in St Ann over the weekend.
He was being sought in connection with the March 17 murder of 20-year-old Ricardo Johnson also known as 'Ricky Trooper', a murder for which his father was charged and is now before the courts.
According to the area two police, the suspect was held during a raid in Breadnut Hill in Ocho Rios, St Ann on Saturday morning
He was reportedly found hiding in a storage room on the premises.
The motor car which was allegedly used in the murder was also found.
On March 17, Johnson was sweeping his yard in the company of a friend about 11:15 a.m., when a grey car drove up. An argument developed between Johnson's friend and one of the men in the car.
The men then drove off but the car later returned and the occupants opened fire, hitting Johnson.
Following investigations, Ballen-tine was charged while his son was identified as a suspect.
