Mediatakeout is reporting that Chris Brown has struck a plea deal that will involve jail time.

[Chris Brown] needs to stop being in denial. I just would like to see justice go in the right direction

I dont want his career to be damaged its damaged already. I think hes a talented guy, but everybody should have to pay. When you do the crime, you do the time. I dont want to see him locked up for a long time I just want him to acknowledge and get some help.

Who did it thats the question now. If hes not guilty, who did it? He should say guilty and let the court be leaning into him and try himself to the mercy of the court, see if he gets a fine

Now hes going to go beyond that and it could go longer, it can be even worse. It can be worse for him in the long run.

Rihannas lawyer spoke to the media outside the courtroom.

Donald Etra just said Rihanna would be pleased if it [the case] were over quickly as in plea bargain. Etra was asked what kind of deal would she want he said she recognized it wasnt up to her.

As we first reported, Browns lawyer, Mark Geragos, and the prosecutor are in the throws of plea bargain negotiations and one source says a deal is close. Rihanna has made it clear she does not want to go to court, although Etra says she will cooperate if ordered to do so.

Chris Brown has just pleaded not guilty to two felony counts regarding his February situation with Rihanna in a Los Angeles courtroom.
