I saw this in the STAR this evening on page 47

JACAP(JAMAICA ASSOCIATION OF COMPOSERS< AUTHORS AND PUBLISHERS LIMITED)

JACAP wishes to advise MUSIC USERS that JACAp is now making it easier for you to comply with the Law. Effective April 1, 2009, properly identified Inspectors from JACAP will now be visting places such as: Clubs, BAr, Lounges, Sport Bars, Restaurants, Hair Salons, Institutions with music On Hold Systems &BAckground Music and ALL MUSIC USERS, to effect licensoing so that you may do right by copyright


what unu think, although its the law but to me it sounds like extortion
