Bail was granted to Devon Ferguson in the sum of $50,000 with surety, in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court Monday.

Ferguson was charged with wounding with intent after allegedly attacking another man with a machete and chopping him several times all over his body. The victim had to be hospitalised for two weeks.

Senior Resident Magistrate Glen Brown ordered that the accused man's fingerprints be taken after issuing bail. The case returns to court on March 19.
