Criminals yesterday made off with $500,000 in cash and phonecards during a robbery at Tops Pastries in Christiana, Manchester.
The thugs reportedly robbed $200,000 in phonecards and $300,000 cash from the establishment.
THE STAR learnt that the thieves gained entry to the shop by breaking down a shutter at the back of the bakery and forcing their way through a bathroom window.
They broke into a vault and made off with the loot. The owner of the establishment said surveillance cameras captured footage of the robbers.
