Atlas' Bruno Marioni and Santos' Juan Pablo Rodriguez will each have time to think about their respective red cards each player received on Wednesday.
The Mexican Football Federation's Disciplinary Committee ruled that both Marioni and Rodriguez would sit out two additional games on top of their automatic one-match ban.
Marioni instigated a fight with America's Juan Carlos Silva, an altercation that saw each player receive a red card.
Rodriguez, meanwhile, was sent off after a retaliatory attack on Tecos' Rodrigo Ruiz, who had scored the game's only goal just minutes earlier.
All told, 11 players and one coach - Puebla's Jose Luis Sanchez Sola - saw red on Wednesday. Sanchez, who was sent off for arguing an annulled goal, will also miss three games as the FMF also slapped him with a three-match ban.
