With Manchester United still on track for an unprecedented quadruple, and Inter with a point to prove to all of Europe, the match between the two northern giants was always going to be big.

It forms a third of the trinity of Italy v England ties Europes premier competition has thrown up, and while the English team are the favourites for most people, one man, who has experience of playing football in both countries, believes the side from Milan can win.

Ex-Manchester United and Parma forward Guiseppe Rossi told La Gazzetta Dello Sport, I have met Manchester United twice recently, while playing for Villarreal, and they are great.

They play some fantastic football, but they dont pressure you much, I think Inter are more solid.

Its a strong point of all [Inter boss Jose] Mourinhos teams, they know how to win even if they play badly, and Inters recent achievements in Italy are there for all to see.

It seems then, that Rossi believes Manchester Uniteds lack of pressing, could be their undoing on Tuesday, and Inter certainly have a side that is the physical match of their opponents.

Rossi, like the rest of Europe, will only have to wait a few more days to see what will happen.
