Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta will be sidelined for around a fortnight, the Primera Liga have confirmed. The Spain international suffered a thigh injury during training and, after undergoing further tests this morning, he will be out for around 15 days according to the club's medical staff.
That means the 24-year-old, who is the only Barcelona player to have played every game in 2009, is set to miss the league matches against Espanyol and Atletico Madrid.
He will also sit out the second leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final against Real Mallorca, and the Champions League last 16 first leg against Lyon.
