32 Bit is for computers running 32 bit operating systems (vista/xp)
(which is the most common one, most people have 32 bit computers)

64 bit, is for 64 bit operating systems, vista 64 bit, xp 64 bit,

chances are if you dont kno which one ur computer is, its probably 32 bit, only recent computers (2008+) come with the OPTION to select 64 bit systems, and chances are your probably not going to even select it.

if your running vista and want to check right click my computer an click properties and it will tell you
