Portugal and France's finest will do battle in Paris next month as Pauleta and Zinedine Zidane prepare to don their international colours again.
Record reports that the two player will take part in a national indoor tournament on March 29, which takes place in the outskirts of the French capital.
Pauleta, who is the top scorer for Portugal, having scored 47 goals in 88 matches, will yet again play for his national team at this tournament.
Likewise, Zidane, who is arguably the best player to ever play for France, will be part of a team composed from the World Cup winning squad of 1998.
Paris Saint-Germain, the club where Pauleta spent his final years as a player, will also take part in the tournament.
The French futsal team are another side involved in the competition, which looks as though it could be an exciting event.
Zidane has been rumoured to be getting back into football lately, specifically with a role as world ambassador for Real Madrid.
Former Blancos president, Florentino Perez is reportedly interested in bringing him back to the club and he could well return in the summer.
Pauleta has followed that path after his retirement and he is now in an ambassadorial role at PSG.
