As Sgt. Dean Caputo, Arcadia (CA) PD, who forwarded this photo, noted: "Boy, they just keep getting smarter, huh."

Not surprisingly, there was alcohol (spiritus fermenti) involved1, and the gentleman put some kind of firecracker or small explosive device in his mouth it is unclear exactly what he was hoping to achieve, but he is assuredly a prime candidate for natural de-selection.
