One876 contacted a member of Deva Brat's road management team today who informed us that the deejay had survived the knife attack and emerged largely unscathed except for a 'few bumps to the head'.

Since the news broke yesterday that dancehall artiste Deva Bratt was beaten and stabbed by four men, OutAroad.com tried to get in touch with Deva Bratt and his management team but was not successful in doing so. However, this morning Deva Bratts management team sent us an email explaining that it was just a misunderstanding - Deva Bratt is alive and well.

Deva Bratt's Management Team (PRGirlAngel):
"Yes, there was a minor incident that occurred Sunday morning, however Deva Bratt was *not* stabbed, and is *not* hurt. The incident has obviously been blown out of proportion.

Was Deva Bratt attacked because of controversial song he recently voiced?
Although rumored that the incident started due to controversial songs on a Cash Money Mixtape titled "UNEXPECTED", we cannot confirm that at this time. Deva Bratt is currently recording new music under the newly formed label/production company "Krucial Konflict".
