After appearing on numerous remixes including "Walk It Out," "Throw Some D's," "You," Jay-Z's "30 Something," and a few original songs such as UGK's 'International Players Anthem', Devin the Dude's "What A Job", and John Legend's 'Green Light,' ATLien Andre 3000 has decided to take the solo road on his forthcoming album.
In a recent interview with RollingStone Magazine, Andre reveals some details regarding his forthcoming solo effort due out early next year and to the surprise of many, admits he was never big on collaborations.
"Ive pretty much been working with myself, he tells the mag. Ive never really been that big on collaboration.
It should be dropping by the end of this year or early next year," he continues.
I have a concept, and all the soundscapes are already in my head, so I just have to figure out how to get there.
For fans of the rapper who can't get enough, Andre will be appearing on a new flick called Battle In Seattle, a film about the protests surrounding the 1999 World Trade Organization summit opening this Friday.
